Highlands - Fantasy 3D Buildings Pack

This is a Pack of 3D Buildings with a Stylized look. Although this pack was designed for a Top-Down/Strategy type of Game, you may find it useful for other projects (RPG, Cards Games, etc).

(The images and the video shown here are renders from the environment project I've done with this Pack, for more info regarding the project and more images visit: https://vguerreiro.artstation.com/projects/J9avJa . For now I'm not including the Trees, Rock Formations and Stones, I can include them as an extra if this gets some attention).

The Assets in this Pack are all in FBX format, they come with Custom Collision for every Assets (I'm using the Unreal Engine 4, so that's what I have setup, but feel free to adapt and change it to your needs/engine or even just delete the Collision Meshes).

Some Assets also have Vertex Painting for the parts that might need it, Flags, Grass and such.

The Texture Maps are in  4096px X 4096px PNG.

This Pack Contains:

. 6 Buildings (including Wall Piece and separate Wall Tower)

  • Barracks
  • Hut
  • Town Center
  • Walls
    • Tower
    • Wall
  • Watch Tower
  • Windmill

. Small kit of MiscellaneousProps

  • Axe
  • Barrel
  • Crop Field
  • Grass Patches (x3)
  • Shield
  • Wood Crate
  • Wood Fence

All the Assets are UV Mapped and textured with a PBR (Physically Based Rendering) workflow. For all of the Assets there are the respective Texture Maps. (There are Assets that don't require all of the following maps ex. - assets that don't have metallic parts don't include a Metalness Map - it's zero in value).

  • Albedo
  • Metalness
  • Roughness
  • Normal Map
  • Mask/Opacity

The  files are organized with the following Folder Structure and file naming conventions:

SM_ Prefix -> Static Mesh

T_ Prefix -> Texture

. Name of the Asset > SM_[NameofTheAsset].fbx

. Name of the Asset > TextureMaps > T_[NameOfTheAsset].png

Note:

I'm offering this pack for free, you can use these however and whenever you want to. However, I would appreciate if you were able to credit me in the project where you use them, this is NOT mandatory, but greately appreciated. You can also donate if you wish to do so!

If you find any issues, etc feel free to drop a comment, I might be able to find some spare time to quick-fix/adjust some things if needed. Bare in mind that I'm offering these for free, so don't expect me to go too deep into changes here.

If you use this Asset Pack in any of your projects and want to share them with me, feel free to do so either on the comments or here: http://twitter.com/VEGuerreiro . I'll share links and such  and I'd like to see what you come up with, using this Pack! :)

(1 edit)

Hey there!Yes! All the images and video you see in the page were rendered in UE.:)

thanks for the reply!

No problem! :)

HI very nice assets, just wondering how it works in Godot, I find the texture maps colour blurred.

Hey there! Thank you! Hum, I'm not sure, the assets provided contain 4k textures. I'm not very familiar with the Godot engine. Could be be any sort of filtering/compression/mimap setting in-engine?

Can I Use This On RPG Maker Mv, I'm Planning to Make A Real Time Strategy/ SurvivaL

Hey there! Thank you for your interest!

If I'm not mistaken (I've never used it) RPG Maker is a 2D Game Engine. This is a pack of actual 3D Assets. I don't know if you can directly import these into RPG Maker but I suspect it won't work. That said, you can always load them into a 3D software (I'd suggest Blender, since it's Free and Open Source) and render them out to Sprites to use in any 2D Game Engine.

is these files versatile in Unity , Blender n other game engines

Hello! Thank you so much for your interest and for your comments! Yes! These should work in any 3D application that supports FBx files (including those you've suggested). In regards to Unity you would have to look for how the engine works with the Collision Meshes (usually it's just a matter of editing the naming or something similar). If you just want the assets to render, you can simply delete the collision meshes - in my case (UE4) I used their necessay naming convention, so the collisions are the objects that use the following naming: UCX_[nameOfTheObject].

thank u for the reply

No problem! If anything else pops up feel free to let me know!
